With the 2025 Mid-Season Draft just days away, the understanding of which prospects are likely to be recruited and the clubs that will be involved is growing stronger.
Currently, eight clubs will share 13 selections for the Mid-Season Draft, with Essendon able to make as many as four picks to bolster their injury-hit list ahead of the home stretch.
West Coast will carry Pick 1 into the count for the third time in four years, with a ripple effect to occur from that selection for the other seven sides.
Here's each club with at least one list spot open for Wednesday's draft and the prospect that could be at the top of their list.

8. West Coast
Tom McCarthy (Richmond VFL)
With the first pick on the board, the Eagles will be hoping to get the most out of what will likely be their only selection.
Likely looking at a young talent who could still slot into Andrew McQualter's side as early as this season, Richmond's McCarthy looks likely to tick a lot of boxes for the Eagles' list team.
The composed half-back is a clean kicker of the ball, a good decision maker and is solid in the air as an interceptor, and is only 24 years of age.

The Eagles need some more run and dare out of defence, with McCarthy looking like their man.
Others in the mix:Â Archer May, Jaiden Hunter, Brandan Parfitt
