With the 2025 Mid-Season Draft just days away, the understanding of which prospects are likely to be recruited and the clubs that will be involved is growing stronger.

Currently, eight clubs will share 13 selections for the Mid-Season Draft, with Essendon able to make as many as four picks to bolster their injury-hit list ahead of the home stretch.

West Coast will carry Pick 1 into the count for the third time in four years, with a ripple effect to occur from that selection for the other seven sides.

Here's each club with at least one list spot open for Wednesday's draft and the prospect that could be at the top of their list.

5. North Melbourne

Archer May (Subiaco)

Subiaco's Archer May has shot into Mid-Season Draft contention as a promising key forward who is showing his value on the state league scene.

Since crossing from Richmond's VFL program, May has booted 12 goals in six games for the Lions while sharing a front third with veteran attacker Ryan Borchet, who's kicked 15 goals himself.

At 20 years old, May looms as a suitable target for North Melbourne, who are still searching for help to support top attacker Nick Larkey.

With May's clean hands and sharpshooting, a move to Arden Street could pay dividends for both parties.

Others in the mix: Massimo Raso, Riley Mason
