Brisbane midfielder Tom Cutler has been given a two-match ban after collecting Adelaide's Lachlan Murphy on Saturday night.

Cutler was initially handed a two-match ban for the incident below, which was classified as careless conduct with high impact to the head.

Murphy was left bleeding after the incident, and failed a concussion test which saw him ruled out of the remainder of the match.

Culter will now miss the Lions' clashes with Geelong and North Melbourne.
