St Kilda has officially made its first list cull after wishing veteran Zaine Cordy farewell at the conclusion of the 2025 season, while defender Jimmy Webster has hung up the boots.
After 14 seasons, Webster has told the Saints that he will retire at season's end, playing 180 games since being drafted with Pick 42 in the 2011 National Draft.
"It's had its ups and downs, but I've loved every second of my time at the Saints," Webster said.
"St Kilda has been such a big part of my life and my family's life. I've made lifelong mates here, and I'll always be grateful for the opportunity to pull on the jumper.
"I want to thank Richael and the boys for their support, as well as the coaches, staff, teammates and the fans who have backed me over the years. It means the world."

Cordy played 40 games for the Saints after joining the club ahead of the 2023 season as a free agent, following his stint at the Western Bulldogs.
The 28-year-old was a pivotal cog in the Bulldogs' drought-breaking premiership in 2016, and featured 118 times since being drafted with Pick 62 in the 2014 National Draft.
"It's been an incredible journey so far, and I feel really fortunate to have lived out my dream," Cordy said.
"From being drafted by the Bulldogs to joining the Saints, I've been lucky to experience so much and share it with some amazing people.
"I want to thank my family for their endless support, my teammates for always having my back, and the coaches and staff who have helped me along the way.
"While my time at St Kilda is coming to an end, I'll always be grateful for the opportunity the club has given me, and I'm excited to see what comes next."
EGM of Football David Mission congratulated Cordy on his time at St Kilda, and in the AFL.
"Zaine has been a fantastic contributor across his time in the AFL," Misson said.
"He's a competitor in every sense of the word - selfless, brave and always prepared to put his body on the line for his teammates. Those are qualities you can't teach, and they've made him the kind of player and person teammates love to have alongside them.
"While his time at St Kilda is coming to a close, we wish Zaine, his wife Georgia and broader family nothing but the best for the next chapter and thank them for all they've given to the Saints."
It comes as the Saints are yet to officially make contract calls on Angus McLennan, Arie Schoenmaker, Harry Boyd, Jack Carroll, Marcus Windhager, Max Heath, Ryan Brynes and Zak Jones.
The club is keen to re-sign Windhager amid heavy interest from North Melbourne, Essendon and Melbourne.
However, the Moorabbin club did recently re-sign Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera to a monster payday of $4 million over two seasons, while Dougal Howard, Isaac Keeler, Liam Stocker, Paddy Dow and Liam O'Connell have recommitted.
St Kilda close its season with a clash against GWS on Sunday.
