It is a privilege to win an AFL premiership.
But to win one in your first year is something dreams can't even dream about.
However, a quartet of young Brisbane stars can tell you all about it.
Logan Morris' 2024 story has been well documented, and although it is a rare feat, he was joined by teammates Levi Ashcroft, Sam Marshall and Ty Gallop after Saturday's premiership triumph.
They are not the only Lions to do it, with Robert Copeland timing his run beautifully in 2001, quickly becoming a significant contributor to the club's three-peat.
The most famous, however, would have to be Richmond's Marlion Pickett, who debuted in the 2019 grand final against GWS.
The Tigers won by 89 points, and Pickett, after being taken in that year's mid-season draft and claiming a VFL premiership a week earlier, replaced the injured Jack Graham for the decider.
Pickett was the sixth player in history to debut in a grand final, and the first since 1952, when Collingwood included Keith Batchelor.
Ironically, Graham would achieve the same feat two years earlier, lifting the cup aloft in his maiden season as the Tigers ended a 37-year premiership drought.
Then there's Joel Selwood (2007) and Cyril Rioli (2008) in consecutive years, while Josh Dunkley (2016) forced his way into the Western Bulldogs side, as well as Liam Ryan (2018) and Jake Bowey (2021).
