Carlton small forward Jesse Motlop has re-signed at the club, putting pen to paper on a new two-year deal.

Motlop played every game in 2025 after struggling to cement his spot in Michael Voss' side, and is tipped to become a focal point of the Blues forward contingent.

The 21-year-old has played 63 games since being drafted with Pick 27 in the 2021 National Draft, kicking 59 goals.

“We are happy to have Jesse continue on at Carlton for the next two years,” said Carlton's list manager, Nick Austin.

“Jesse has really grown at the football club, since stepping foot inside IKON Park, he has worked hard on his forward craft as well as learning from the midfield group as he develops all elements of his game.

“The progression he has shown as he now enters his fifth season has been very pleasing, he has built solid foundations to further progress from here, and we look forward to seeing him use this opportunity to take his career to the next level.”

Motlop's re-signing comes after the small forward garnered reported interest from Port Adelaide ahead of the trade period.
