Round 22 saw some consistent performances for the top recruits across the weekend, as a Hawk recruit jumped back into the rankings.

Not much movement at the top of our rankings, with star Cat and Bulldogs midfielder, solidifying themselves at the top.

Who's making the most impact in their new colours? Welcome to the weekly rankings of the Recruit of the Year contenders for 2025, with Round 22 giving us plenty to consider.

11 - Bailey Smith (-)

The star recruit solidifies himself at the top of our rankings as he was arguably the best on in another Cats victory on Friday night.

Smith was the Cats' top ball winner again with 31 disposals, 25 of them being kicks. He also led the way with a game-high nine clearances and 738 meters gained. This is all topped off by his eight score involvements and 11 contested possessions.

With only two rounds to go, it will be hard for the midfielder to lose his spot at number one, as he continues to push his way to his first potential All-Australian Blazer.
