After sliding down the rankings to eighth, Parker jumped back up after a solid performance despite his side's big loss.
The former Swan led from the front as he recorded one goal along with his 29 disposals, 11 contested possessions, six marks, five tackles and eight clearances.
The 32-year-old recruit continues to deliver consistent performances in some tough losses, as he was arguably the Kangaroos' best player on the weekend.
