Round 22 saw some consistent performances for the top recruits across the weekend, as a Hawk recruit jumped back into the rankings.

Not much movement at the top of our rankings, with star Cat and Bulldogs midfielder, solidifying themselves at the top.

Who's making the most impact in their new colours? Welcome to the weekly rankings of the Recruit of the Year contenders for 2025, with Round 22 giving us plenty to consider.

88 - Josh Battle (New)

The Hawks recruit sees himself back in the rankings after not being in the rankings for two weeks in a row.

Battle was a star for Hawthorn in their season-shaping win against Collingwood. He was able to gather 26 disposals at 81%, seven intercepts, seven marks, along with his 464 meters gained.

The former Saint has been a crucial member of the backline for the Hawks, and he will need to continue playing like this for them to complete their September push.
