GWS have confirmed young flanker Cody Angove will make his AFL debut on Sunday against Geelong.
The teenager joined the Giants via last year's AFL Draft as the 24th overall pick, landing in the first round of November's intake.
The Claremont product is an athletic utility who can feature across all three lines of the field, using his run and pace to impact the game.
Angove has played five games in the VFL for GWS this year, averaging 22.8 disposals, 5.2 marks and 2.5 tackles per game.
The GWS youngster booted three goals from 19 disposals in his most recent outing against the Swans.
The young Giant is the club's second AFL debutant in as many weeks, with the New South Wales side unveiling Josaia Delana at last week's Sydney Derby.
The pair join Tasmania and second-year Giant James Leake in making their debuts in the orange and charcoal in 2025.
GWS have confirmed two outs for Sunday's trip to Geelong, with forward pair Toby Bedford (eye) and Darcy Jones (knee) withdrawn from Adam Kingsley's squad.
As well as Angove, Jake Riccardi, Harry Rowston and Ryan Angwin are other potential inclusions for the Giants' Round 9 lineup.
GWS take on Geelong at Kardinia Park at 3:20pm (AEST) on Sunday.
