Gold Coast on-baller Brayden Fiorini has "some thinking to do" regarding his future as Essendon, Port Adelaide and the Suns attempt to lock away his services.

Fiorini was a much-improved player in the back half of 2025, featuring from Round 9 onwards after missing the opening weeks of the season.

As a result, the classy left-footer has garnered interest from around the nation, with player agent and Bravo Talent Management's Liam Pickering discussing the "three options".

"Yeah, they (Port Adelaide) did (impress him), he said it went really well, he was impressed with the vision of the club," Pickering said on SEN.

"He's got three options, really. He's got Gold Coast who want to keep him, Port want to get him, and Essendon want to get him.

"He's got some thinking to do."

Fiorini joined Gold Coast in 2015 with Pick 20, playing 123 games during his time in Queensland.

However, he has spent large chunks of his time in the VFL, but has turned the narrative around, and quickly become an integral part of Damien Hardwick's side.

"In the first half dozen weeks of the year, he's running around having 48 and 50 touches in the twos and couldn't get in," Pickering said.

"But then he got in, and he's been an inside mid most of his career, but they found a role for him on the wing, and he played it really well.

"All of a sudden, he became an integral part of their team, so they don't want to lose him now.

"But it took us a while to get an offer from them, which is all changed because of his other interests.

"At Port, they want him for a wing position. Essendon want him to play wing. Where it lands, I don't know yet, but he was impressed with them (Port) the other day."

Fiorini has already toured Port Adelaide's facilities as he weighs up his future.

The 28-year-old falls under the unrestricted band of free agency, meaning any club keen on his services can acquire him for no cost other than salary cap payment, while the Suns can't match a bid for the midfielder.

The free agency period opens this Friday, October 3, at 9am.
