Gold Coast small forward Malcolm Rosas Jr has been revealed as a target for rival clubs Richmond and Sydney.
Rosas Jr has struggled to cement his spot under new coach Damien Hardwick in the past two seasons following an influx of highly talented Academy prospects.
The 24-year-old has played 48 games since being drafted from the club's Academy in 2019, but has managed to add a measly 10 under Hardwick.
The Tigers, under coach Adem Yze, are attempting to recreate the elite small fleet of quick forwards, adding to the contingent of Seth Campbell, Maurice Rioli jnr and Steely Green.
Yze has shown a willingness to add chaos to his front-half game plan, utilising the speed and agility of his buzzing forwards, which Rosas Jr suits.
Sydney, according to AFL Media, is the same, and has been impressed by the 24-year-old's VFL run of late, which has shown stints up forward and through the midfield.
Rosas Jr has been averaging 18 disposals, 3.5 tackles and kicking goals in 10 of 13 games this year.
Cross-town rivals Brisbane and Adelaide had a look at Rosas Jr in last year's trade period, while Essendon has previously shown interest.
He is out of contract at season's end along with Nick Holman, Thomas Berry, Connor Budarick and Jy Farrar.
