GWS midfielder Jacob Wehr has reportedly received interest from several rival clubs as he works through the final year of his current deal.

Wehr will qualify as a free agent after previously being delisted by the Giants, before being selected again as a rookie.

The 26-year-old has played 37 games since being drafted in 2020 with Pick 59, and has a one-year deal in front of him to remain in New South Wales.

However, his impressive form in 2025 has demanded that clubs around the competition consider making a play for Wehr, according to AFL Media's Cal Twomey.

His teammates Leek Aleer, Xavier O'Halloran and Wade Derksen also pose as intriguing prospects after the trio had received interest or attempted to depart last year.

Aleer is currently weighing up a two-year offer from the Giants, but is understood to have St Kilda coming hard for him.

O'Halloran was held to his contract after the Western Bulldogs attempted to lure him south, while Melbourne's failed attempt to score Derksen last year is renewed once again.

Veteran Callan Ward has yet to make a call on his career following his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, while defender Lachlan Keeffe will be one to watch.

Athletic forward Callum Brown is expected to remain at the Giants despite not having a deal beyond 2025.

Josh Fahey and Nathan Wardius are also without contracts.
