Geelong have confirmed ruckman Rhys Stanley will be available for selection for the 2025 AFL Grand Final.
Stanley has not played since the end of the home-and-away season due to a hamstring injury, which has forced him to miss finals wins over Brisbane and Hawthorn.
The veteran tall was listed as an emergency for last week's preliminary final after being placed under fitness tests during the build-up.
In a club update on Tuesday, Geelong confirmed Stanley has been cleared to return.
The Cats have managed to record strong wins over the Lions and Hawks without Stanley, and will come up against the former once more in Saturday's season decider.
Utility Mark Blicavs and defender Sam De Koning have shared the role of filling the void left by Stanley's absence.

Geelong will need to make at least one change for the grand final, with defender Tom Stewart entering concussion protocols.
Stanley was named in the emergencies last week alongside Jed Bews and Ollie Henry, who could also be in the mix to play this weekend.
The Cats will confirm their 23-player line-up at 6:20pm (AEST) on Thursday.
