Geelong has reportedly put forward three first-round picks for Carlton spearhead Charlie Curnow, with the Blues suggesting the offer to be 'unreasonable'.

The Cats would look to use their Pick 19 from the 2025 draft, as well as future first-round selections from 2026 and 202,7 to help broker a deal.

Pick 19 was originally offered to St Kilda for Rowan Marshall, who stated his intention of joining the grand finalists. However, no movement has been made on that deal, with the Saints holding firm on the contracted ruckman.

Carlton football boss Chris Davies addressed the offer on Trade Radio, stating the likely range of the three picks offered won't be enough to satisfy the Blues.

"The club's position has been that we don't want Charlie Curnow leaving Carlton," Davies said on Friday morning.

"For Geelong, those three picks are effectively going to be picks in the 20s. I'm not sure anyone would think that was a reasonable deal for who Charlie Curnow is.

"What has been clear from day one is that we are not in a position where we are suggesting to other clubs what Charlie is worth.

From here on in, our positioned will remain that we want Charlie to stay."

The Cats have long been linked with Curnow, who is a Geelong Falcons product.

However, among Geelong was Sydney and Gold Coast as interested parties in the star forward, although the latter's interest has cooled of late, given its investment in successfully trading Melbourne star Christian Petracca, as well as landing Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.

The Swans were deemed the most likely to pry Curnow out of Ikon Par,k given established names on their list, with Will Hayward and Ollie Florent being floated as potential pieces in a deal.

Geelong seemingly has no players they would part with, or be of any value to Carlton, hence why they have offered three first-round picks.

Ironically, the Cats lured Jeremy Cameron to Kardinia Park in 2020 with three first-round selections, sending Picks 13, 15 and 20 to the Giants, while a pair of second-round picks were returned.

Curnow was last seen training with business partner and Geelong midfielder Bailey Smith.

Smith shared a photo on social media as the pair were seen with a bag of footballs, and a dog, at a local oval.
