Geelong have announced the re-signing of young gun Brandon Parfitt.

The tough midfielder has penned a two-year extension, tying him to the club until the end of 2023.

The 22-year old is coming off a career-best season, averaging 15.5 disposals and 5.9 tackles from 18 games.

“Brandan is an integral part of our future, so we’re pleased to have secured him until the end of 2022,” Cats General Manager of Football Simon Lloyd told the club website.

“Since arriving at the club, he has developed into one of the club’s most versatile players and we are excited to see where he can take his game in the next two seasons.

“Brandan displays the values we aspire to live by and is part of a nucleus of young players that represent an exciting future for the Geelong Football Club.”

Parfitt has played 72 AFL games since making his debut in 2017.
