Fremantle forward Murphy Reid has ousted Adelaide midfielder Dan Curtin by 13 votes to claim the 2025 Rising Star.
Reid's home-and-away season saw him become one of the AFL's best young goal scorers, with his 24 goals ranking fifth for players aged 21 or younger, and also being the only 19-year-old to rank inside the top 10.
He averaged 14.5 disposals and 5.5 score involvements per game.
Curtin finished in second place with 35 votes following an electric latter half of the season, playing a key role in Adelaide's minor premiership. In the final 10 games of his campaign, he averaged 15.5 disposals and 8.0 contested possessions as well as 4.7 marks.
Levi Ashcroft claimed third place with 26 votes, averaging 19.2 disposals, 2.4 clearances, 4.5 marks and 3.9 score involvements this season.
In the absence of elite ball-winners Jarrod Berry and Lachie Neale in the final month of Brisbane's season, Ashcroft elevated his play in the midfield, recording 21 clearances in the last four weeks of the home-and-away season.
Melbourne forward Harvey Langford and Geelong key defender Connor O'Sullivan were also recognised solidly in the votes, finishing fourth and fifth with 20 and 15 votes respectively.
