Wantaway Carlton defender Jack Silvagni is reportedly set to meet St Kilda as he weighs up his free agency decision.

Silvagni told the Blues last week that he will be exercising his rights as an unrestricted free agent, with Collingwood, Essendon and the Western Bulldogs believed to be interested in his services.

Now, according to Herald Sun's Jay Clark, the Saints have entered the race.

Ironically, Silvagni could be meeting with St Kilda list boss Stephen Silvagni, who is a Carlton great but also his father.

Clark reported that veteran recruiter Graeme Allan and St Kilda coach Ross Lyon have pushed to lure the 27-year-old to Moorabbin as they look to hit the player movement space hard.

The Saints have already successfully landed Silvagni's teammate and ruckman, Tom De Koning, at the club.

It is also believed that St Kilda is into Leek Aleer, Liam Ryan, Cam Mackenzie and Sam Flanders.

After re-signing Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, the Saints have quickly turned into a destination club, and they have the cash to spend.

However, all the furore surrounding players entering the doors of Moorabbin could see a host weigh up their futures elsewhere.

Geelong is targeting ruckman Rowan Marshall as a replacement for Rhys Stanley, while North Melbourne has gone hard for Marcus Windhager.
