Former St Kilda and Port Adelaide-listed player Riley Bonner has helped the Big V defeat the SANFL for the second consecutive year.
A VFL representative side faced off against a SANFL outfit on Saturday afternoon at Glenelg, with the Vics getting up 15.13 (103) to 14.14 (98) after a high-octane last quarter.
Bonner was named Victoria's best with 32 disposals and six marks playing off half-back, a role he has made his own since arriving at Casey last year.
He played 93 games for Port Adelaide and 19 for St Kilda from 2016-2024.
Long time Saint Jack Billings had 22 disposals and a goal, while captain Louis Pinnuck had some big moments among his 19 touches.
Former Western Bulldog Charlie Clarke, who is again gaining draft interest, kicked the sealing goal in the last quarter and showed off his talent, while fellow mid-season prospect Jed Hagan also kicked a pair of goals.
Other former AFL-listed players in action included Jaidyn Stephenson, Hugh Dixon, James Bell, Zac Foot and Jackson Hately.
The SANFL side led by as much as 19 points in the second quarter, before the VFL side kicked four goals either side of halftime to put their noses in front.
The game continued to ebb and flow before Victoria kicked the first three goals of the last quarter and the SANFL was unable to overcome the deficit.
Reigning Magarey Medallist Tom Lewis claimed the Fos Williams Medal, leading the SANFL's midfield charge.
Sturt coach Marty Mattner coached the SANFL, while the VFL was led by Frankston mentor Jackson Kornberg.
