Ex-Western Bulldog Mitch Honeychurch is set to rejoin forces with Lin Jong at the Montmorency Football Club in 2022.
The news of the 35-gamer's agreement to join the Northern Football and Netball League (NFNL) side for next season was announced via the club's Instagram account on Friday afternoon.
While Honeychurch hasn't called the kennel home since the end of 2018, the midfielder-come-forward has continued plying his trade throughout the local footy scene - including with his junior club, Vermont.
Consistent senior action often eluded Honeychurch across his five years at Whitten Oval, however, the Eastern Ranges product will bring premiership pedigree to the Magpies, having won a pair of VFL medallions with Footscray in 2014 and 2016.
Honeychurch's signature comes just a fortnight after his ex-teammate Jong also shook hands on a deal that would see him become a "swoopyboi" next season.
