The Dockers were one of the biggest winners of the 2024 trade period, landing former Tigers superstar Shai Bolton, which has propelled their charge toward a maiden premiership in 2025.

As the season winds down, it has become apparent there are no glaring holes in Fremantle's playing list, making their potential off-season one of intrigue.

So, where can they make upgrades, and which out-of-contract players could the Purple Haze realistically add as they enter their latest premiership window?

We take a look at five trade and free agency targets for Fremantle to consider this year.

Lions premiership forward Callum Ah Chee was reportedly offered a "significantly better" contract by rival Adelaide recently, opening the door for him to depart Brisbane. Fremantle should be willing to throw themselves into the mix for Ah Chee, as the Western Australian-born talent offers the potential to truly dynamise Fremantle's already impressive forward line.

Ah Chee is on pace to kick a career-high number of goals this season, averaging over one per game, but with Oscar Allen reportedly settled on joining the Lions in 2026, his opportunities may reduce next season.

Patrick Voss and Shai Bolton have highlighted how smooth a transition joining Fremantle's forward 50 can be, and they thrive off the delivery of a star-studded midfield. That could be tempting for Ah Chee, as well as the opportunity to play for a club in his home state.
