Collingwood's VFL program has added five ex-AFL-listed players to its squad for 2026, headlined by three former North Melbourne players straight out of the top flight.
Ex-Roos Will Phillips, Brynn Teakle and Eddie Ford have signed with the Magpies' reserves, who new coach Matthew Lokan will lead in 2026.
Phillips will add to a promising midfield unit at Olympic Park, with Teakle able to play across all three lines as a key position player, and Ford noted as a medium-sized forward.
That trio is joined by recently delisted Melbourne flanker Taj Woewodin, who departed the Demons after 21 games and four seasons.
Former Gold Coast dasher Oskar Faulkhead has also made the move to Collingwood after spending the past year with SANFL side North Adelaide. Faulkhead spent two-and-a-half years with the Suns, however failed to break through for a debut.
As part of Collingwood's recruitment drive, the club has secured a number of familiar surnames for the 2026 season.

Zai Millane, the nephew of late Collingwood great Darren Millane, has signed on alongside Ed Perryman, brother of current AFL Magpie Harry.
Charlie McCartin, the brother of Paddy and Tom, has moved from Geelong's VFL following a promising maiden season at the state league level.
Also among the fresh faces in black and white are Easter Ranges premiership player Rod Ali and Josiah Landy, while youngster Nick Thompson has made the switch from the Bendigo Pioneers.
Zavier Maher (North Adelaide, Michael Lewis (Carlton VFL), Xavier Laverty (Wangaratta), Robert Varcoe (Norwood) and Hamish Collins (North Adelaide U18s) have also been announced as new signings.
