All eight clubs still in the mix this September have decisions to make at selection, with most of those dealing with injury concerns that could take until the 11th hour.
GWS will have five players looking to prove their fitness at training this week, while the Crows have made an early call on a young forward.
Here's all the latest injury news ahead of week one of the AFL Finals.
Gun Docker no certainty
Fremantle forward Sam Switkowski still needs to "get through a few hurdles" at training this week to be cleared to face the Suns on Saturday night.
Switkowski is still nursing a knee injury from Round 24 and is listed as a test for this weekend's action.
“He's still progressing as expected,” Fremantle high-performance manager Phil Merriman said.
“He's going to be a test this week to play.
“He obviously has to get through a few hurdles from those knocks to the knee, but hopefully we get him up for the game.”
Fremantle will be forced into at least one change, with Corey Wagner to miss with a season-ending pectoral injury.
Hawk needs to prove his fitness
Hawthorn wingman Harry Morrison has been listed as a test for Saturday's elimination final against GWS.
Morrison hasn't featured at AFL level since Round 21 due to a quad issue, with his rehabilitation taking longer than initially expected.
The Hawks midfielder will need to get through full training this week to be cleared to return.
"He's progressing. It's been a little slower than we've expected and sometimes these things happen with soft tissue injuries, we get scans and we have the clinical side of the testing as well and sometimes that side of it can take a little longer, and that's certainly how this has played out," Hawks high-performance boss Peter Burge said.
"He's certainly made significant progression over the last two sessions. We're kicking the footy at the moment and doing some high-speed running and running faster. We're just now in the position where we're looking to assess his training for Thursday with the main group and then we'll make a selection decision with the match committee."
The Hawks will have Josh Weddle available for selection following his recent recovery from a back injury.
Star pair cleared as luckless Lion's season is over
Brisbane have confirmed midfield pair Lachie Neale and Jarrod Berry are both fit to face Geelong on Friday after dealing with quad and shoulder injuries to end their home and away campaigns.
The Lions won't have key forward Eric Hipwood for another week at least, with the Brisbane tall listed as 1-2 weeks away with his calf concern.
Brisbane have been forced to put a line through Tom Doedee's 2025 campaign, with the luckless defender requiring surgery on his wrist.

The injury keeps Doedee's season games tally to one game, which came in Round 22 against Sydney.
Collingwood speedster locked in as key forward sustains health concern
Magpies senior coach Craig McRae has confirmed Beau McCreery will play in Thursday night's qualifying final blockbuster against Adelaide after the forward undertook a series of fitness tests before joining the group for their main session on Tuesday.
McCreery was taken to the rooms to be assessed after his foot was stepped on against the Demons, though he ultimately returned to the field and played out the match.
"Beau will play. He's done everything he needed to do to prove his fitness today, so we back him in and back our medical department in. He'll be available," McRae said on Tuesday.
7 News' Xander McGuire reported following Tuesday's session that key tall Dan McStay could miss the top four blockbuster, however, after developing some shoulder soreness. It opens the door for Mason Cox, who was seen on Tuesday completing marking drills with other Collingwood talls, to make a return to the senior side for the first time since Round 19.
The Magpies' match committee is set to make the call on McStay today ahead of the announcement of Thursday night's teams on Wednesday evening.
There was another scare at the main training session on Tuesday, with Jordan De Goey seen clutching his lower leg following a tackle from teammate Isaac Quaynor. The star forward jogged gingerly from the ground following the contact, but McRae later confirmed De Goey should be fine.
"I was a bit worried about him but he's fine. He came back on," McRae said.
"He just got a little bit of a knock, I think it might have been his ankle. He's fine, he came back on so fingers crossed."

GWS five in the mix
The Giants are yet to rule out any of their five senior players who are looking to prove their fitness for Saturday's elimination final against Hawthorn.
Josh Kelly (calf), Jake Stringer (hamstring) and Jesse Hogan (foot) will all train fully this week in their respective pursuits of recalls from injury.
Key defender Jack Buckley won't train until Thursday as he nurses a calf injury sustained during the week of the club's final home and away season game.
GWS veteran Stephen Coniglio is scheduled to exit concussion protocols on Friday following a concern picked up in Round 24, and is expected to face the Hawks.
Crows put line through young gun, winger hamstrung
Adelaide have moved to remove any selection speculation surrounding forward Josh Rachele, who won't face Collingwood on Thursday night as he continues his rehabilitation.
Rachele hasn't played since Round 17 due to a knee injury, with his chances of appearing in Adelaide's finals opener always doubtful.
The club has confirmed Rachele won't be fit in time for this week's qualifying final, and instead will have him eye the following weeks of their post-season run.
"He won't be available for Thursday night's game, but tracking really well, training really well," Crows coaching director Murray Davis told media.
"(He) continues to knock on the coach's door and remind him of how well he's going. He's pretty close, but just at this stage, won't be available."
Wingman Lachie Sholl is a chance to be unavailable this week after recently hurting his hamstring.
“Sholly will be an assess for this weekend, but unlikely,” high-performance boss Darren Burgess said in a club update.
“He overstretched and the scan revealed something pretty minor, but there was something there.”
Young flanker Oscar Ryan will need a week on the sidelines with his own hamstring injury.
The Crows will have Max Michalanney and Luke Pedlar to pick from this week following their recent bouts with hamstring concerns.
