A famous AFL name has propelled Glenelg to the SANFL Reserves premiership.

Latreille Sumner-Pickett kicked four goals in his side's win, exciting with his x-factor and speed as a small forward capable of making something out of nothing.

The cousin of Melbourne livewire Kysaiah, Sumner-Pickett shares plenty of similar traits which he showcased in a high-impact, seven disposal game.

Sumner-Pickett received an invite to the AFL State Combine to be held on the first weekend of October and has had AFL club interest since prior to the Mid-Season Draft – but didn't qualify to nominate.

He shapes as a likely pickup in the middle to back end of a national draft that is light on for openly available small forwards after top-20 prospect Lachy Dovaston is off the board.

Glenelg won 13.9(87) to 9.8(62) over Sturt.
