Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley refused to chime in on the ongoing speculation surrounding St Kilda star Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera's links to the club.

It's been widely documented that Wanganeen-Milera has yet to decide between the Saints, Power and Crows for 2026 and beyond, with the three clubs pulling out all the stops to secure his signature.

As for Hinkley, who enters the final fortnight of his coaching tenure at Alberton, he remained steadfast on being tight-lipped.

"From my point of view, I get to bail out on this question," he said.

"I don't know ... history would tell you that long-term, late in the season, those decisions do seem to go a certain way.

"But I'm not going to make any prediction on any of that because I have no information, and I can't help you in any way to predict the outcome.

"I do know that the young man that everyone's talking about, I can understand why everyone's talking about him."

Hinkley also debunked rumours that Collingwood forward and South Australian Beau McCreery toured the club while considering a four-year offer.

McCreery is contracted at the Pies until the end of 2027, but that hasn't stopped rivals considering a move for the 24-year-old, with Gold Coast also making their intentions known.

"I have not seen Beau at the footy club," he said.

"If he has been here, I might not recognise him, but I think he's trying to get over a hamstring to get back and ready to play football for Collingwood."

However, despite the media circus around players, Hinkley has also been linked to a move to a rival club as Josh Carr takes over Port Adelaide in two weeks' time.

The long-time senior coach could reunite with Michael Voss at Carlton, after the club recently moved on from their head of football, Brad Lloyd.

Power football boss Chris Davies has also been linked to the role.

"Everyone gets linked everywhere, don't they? This time of year, when there's an opportunity," Hinkley told reporters on Wednesday.

"Me, Chris, players. We all get linked at different times.

"What I do know about footy is that about one per cent come true."
