The forward line is the glamour position in Australian football, home to the game's most famous and loved players.
The front six often grab the headlines with match-winning hauls and highlight-reel moments, providing the finishing touch that turns dominance into scoreboard pressure.
Forward groups signify a club's attacking identity, with elite sides boasting multifaceted attacks and rebuilding teams typically lacking the firepower to convert inside 50s effectively.
So, who claims the crown as the best attack in the AFL for 2025? Here's Zero Hanger's ranking, from 18th to first.

The Kangaroos haven't ranked as a top eight scoring side since 2019, and things didn't change in 2025 as the Roos struggled to deliver spearhead Nick Larkey consistent opportunities inside 50.
Larkey engaged in 3.1 offensive one-on-ones per game and took 3.6 shots at goal per match. Those are both reductions from his career-best 71-goal campaign from 2023, where he was duelling in 4.0 offensive one-on-ones and taking 4.3 shots at goal per game.
Therefore, it's clear the Roos need to increase their usage of their newly appointed captain, and find ways to get him into favourable mismatches on defenders to get him back to his very best in front of the sticks, as he can be incredibly potent for their attack.
Elsewhere, there's potential in the likes of Paul Curtis to provide support to the big man, but in 2025, it wasn't enough to lift the Roos out of the AFL's basement.
