The forward line is the glamour position in Australian football, home to the game's most famous and loved players.

The front six often grab the headlines with match-winning hauls and highlight-reel moments, providing the finishing touch that turns dominance into scoreboard pressure.

Forward groups signify a club's attacking identity, with elite sides boasting multifaceted attacks and rebuilding teams typically lacking the firepower to convert inside 50s effectively.

So, who claims the crown as the best attack in the AFL for 2025? Here's Zero Hanger's ranking, from 18th to first.

Jeremy Cameron's 88 goals were the story of the Cats' 2025 season, but don't let that overshadow the incredibly dynamic nature of Geelong's front six.

The small forwards in Tyson Stengle and Shaun Mannagh contributed effectively as connectors, while the speed of Ollie Dempsey along the wings allowed him to push forward and punish consistently.

Additionally, Geelong have found their spearhead of the future, with Shannon Neale breaking out into a legitimate star in 2025, kicking 44 goals from just 2.7 shots per game.

Among AFL players who take less than three shots at goal per game, Neale's 44 goals lead the way, highlighting his potential to be a Coleman Medal contender once Cameron relinquishes the main target role.

There's a reason why Geelong scored 100 points or more 16 times in 2025 - a tally only the team in first could come close to matching.
