West Coast have been on the rebuild since 2022 and have seen a major turnover of players and staff, including premiership coach Adam Simpson.

As a result, Andrew McQualter gets his first crack in the hot seat, while an influx of experienced players from Richmond and Carlton will provide a new-look Eagles lineup this year.

The proud Western Australian club has slowly been on the improve, and could continue its slow but steady rise in the upcoming campaign.

Here we assess West Coast's 2025 squad and select a best 23 outfit ahead of the new season.

Our Best 23 for 2025 series will include players unavailable for the start of the season, except for those expected to miss most or all of the season through injury or suspension.

3. Forwards

West Coast fans can see the future of the club, and that is Oscar Allen and Jake Waterman.

The pair have All-Australian potential in 2025, with Waterman reaching the feat with a breakout 2024 campaign.

Accompanying them inside 50 is the small forward cohort of Liam Ryan, Tyler Brockman and recruit Matt Owies, who is a renowned goalkicker.

Graham will start as the remaining half-forward in the lineup but will be seen pushing deep into defence, maximising his elite endurance ability to bounce in between the arcs to good effect.

Veteran Jamie Cripps will get minutes while emerging tall Jack Williams will also be seen regularly, earmarked to assist Flynn in the ruck.
