Essendon defender Jordan Ridley has reportedly decided against a move away from the Bombers this off-season.
Ridley has been closely linked to Brisbane despite being contracted with Essendon until the end of 2029.
The Bombers defender has inked multiple extensions in recent years to commit to the club, only for recent frustrations relating to the club's high-performance management sparking speculation he could seek a trade to the Lions.
Essendon coach Brad Scott has stood firm that the club was not going to trade the 26-year-old, instead holding him to his contract.
According to 7 News reporter Mitch Cleary, Ridley has informed the club he is "fully committed" to the Bombers' cause.
"I'm fully committed to playing my best football here. I have immense faith in Brad Scott and the direction he's taking this developing group," Ridley is quoted.
"After meeting with our new High Performance team, led by Mat Inness, I've been really impressed and confident we have the right strategy in place to overcome my recent injury challenges and get me back to my best."
Jordan Ridley has told Essendon he is staying and won’t be seeking a trade.

Ridley's decision increased the attention placed on captain Zach Merrett, who is also weighing up his future amid trade links to Hawthorn.
Merrett is contracted at Tullamarine until the end of the 2027 season.
Veteran duo Jayden Laverde and Todd Goldstein, as well as free agent Sam Draper, have told the club they will seek opportunities elsewhere for 2026.
