Current West Coast midfielder and former Melbourne player Jayden Hunt has call time on his AFL career.

The 30-year-old played 172 games across the two clubs; 114 at the Demons, who drafted him 57th overall in the 2013 National Draft, followed by a further 58 for the Eagles.

Hunt was a key figure in the Demons' 2021 premiership season, playing 20 home-and-away games that year, but it was the bittersweet heartbreak story for the club, missing out on selection for the Finals campaign after suffering a late-season injury.

Hunt reflected on his time with both clubs as he announced his retirement, looking forward to what his West Coast teammates can produce moving forward.

"While it's been tough on the field, I've enjoyed the challenges and I'm excited to see what the future holds for this promising young group," Hunt said.

"I'm sure they will rise up the ladder soon.

"I'd also like to thank Melbourne for drafting me out of school. I was there for nine years, and they shaped me as a person and as a footballer.

"I would also like to thank my friends and family for all their support over the journey, and I'm looking forward to what comes next."

The Eagles also confirmed the delistings of Callum Jamieson, Jack Petruccelle and Loch Rawlinson.

Petrucelle played 90 games for the Western Australian club, while Jamieson featured in 17.

Rawlinson debuted in Gather Round last year after being picked up as a rookie.

"Callum, Jack, and Loch are outstanding young men who have been valued members of our playing group," Eagles Head of List Management and Recruiting, Matt Clarke said.

"On behalf of the Club, I thank them for their commitment and professionalism throughout their time at West Coast.

"Callum and Jack, in particular, showed great resilience and determination to overcome injury setbacks, earning respect from their teammates and staff.

"This is always a difficult time of year, but each of these players can be proud of the way they represented the Club.

"We wish them all the best with their future endeavours, and they will always be part of the West Coast Eagles."
