Richmond has traded Pick 99 for delisted Geelong youngster Patrick Retschko in a left-field move.
Retschko joined the Cats 12 months ago as a rookie, but failed to play senior football.
Retschko was drafted from the Oakleigh Charges with Pick 23. He featured 18 times for the Cats reserves side, averaging 21.6 touches and four marks.
Trade approved.

The Cats let go of the 19-year-old after the end of the 2025 season.
The Tigers' busy 2024 draft night precluded them from making any bid on Retschko last year.
"Patrick is a player we have tracked closely through the talent pathway leading into last year's draft and during his first year at Geelong, where he played some strong VFL football," Richmond EGM of Football Talent, Blair Hartley, said.
"He has shown AFL traits, with elite endurance, that allows him to find the football on the wing and across half back.
"He played consistently strong state league football through 2025 and is also a lifelong Tigers fan, so we are delighted to be able to give him this opportunity."
Richmond opted to make a deal with the Cats during the trade period to allow for Retschko to become a Tiger before the delisted free agency window opening on November 3.
