Melbourne has sent Christian Petracca and a host of second-round picks to Gold Coast for three first-round selections.
The Demons have acquired Picks 7, 8, 37 and the Suns' 2026 first-round pick and a 2027 third-round selection.
The 2021 Norm Smith medallist finds his way to the Suns, along with Pick 24, 28 and Melbourne's 2026 second-round selection.
Petracca has long been linked with a move away from the Demons, and was tossing up between Adelaide and the Suns.

In recent weeks, the 2021 Norm Smith medallist opted for a move to Queensland to continue his career, despite holding a lucrative contract at Melbourne, lasting until the end of 2029.
“One of our goals throughout the trade period was to add high-quality, experienced players to our evolving list, and Christian is a player that we think can really complement the group we have," Gold Coast GM of Player Talent and Strategy Craig Cameron said.
"Christian will add to our midfield group and has the ability to go forward, attributes we feel are an important addition to our squad as we look to take the next step on-field in 2026."
Petracca was a key contributor to the club's premiership; he's also a four-time All-Australian and two-time best and fairest winner.
He has played 212 games for the Demons since he was taken with Pick 2 in the 2014 National Draft.
