Fremantle will be without captain Alex Pearce and small forward Isaiah Dudley for the club's trip to People First Stadium against Gold Coast.
Pearce, who was freed from his three-week suspension at the Tribunal on Tuesday, wasn't sighted on the Dockers' flight to Gold Coast, and is understood to be suffering from a minor leg injury.
The 29-year-old was cleared to play after being cited for rough conduct on Port Adelaide's Darcy Byrne-Jones, with the incident graded as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact.
Fremantle were successful with their challenge, which primarily focused on arguing that the impact of Pearce's strike should not have been graded as ‘careless.'
Pearce was reportedly sent for scans yesterday on his troublesome leg, with the results revealing "a minor hot spot on his leg", according to Channel 7's Ryan Daniels.
It is a major blow ahead of the Suns contest, who boast a strong forward line containing Coleman Medal fancy Ben King, as well as Jed Walter and Ethan Read.
To make matters worse, it is understood that Dudley will also be absent from Saturday's clash due to personal reasons.
The SSP selection has been a revelation in the AFL during his short time thus far, playing nine games and kicking eight goals, whilst also providing plenty of highlights.
