Delisted Gold Coast forward Tom Berry has reportedly hit the desk of those in West Coast's list management team as a player of interest.
Berry was farewelled by the Suns last week after three seasons and 23 games, which followed a stint at cross-town rivals Brisbane from 2019.
At his best, the 25-year-old is a highly-rated pressure forward, and has been known to be deployed in defensive forward roles to quell the opposition's best ball users.
Berry has played 43 games in his career thus far, and according to AFL Media's Josh Gabelich, he may have the chance to add to that tally at the Eagles.
The Victorian poses as a low-cost, high-reward option as a delisted free agent, or could be held over for the pre-season supplemental period as a rookie.
West Coast are in conversation with the AFL about an assistance package that could help them yield extra rookie spots, which could work in favour of Berry.

The Eagles hold a strong hand in the upcoming National Draft (1, 15, 19 and 33), and should be improved once the Oscar Allen compensation comes in, which is likely to be Pick 2, as well as Campbell Chesser's trade value, with the midfielder likely heading to Carlton.
Andrew McQualter, in his first year as senior coach, claimed only one victory, and sat four wins behind Richmond in 17th place.
The Eagles will be looking to bring in high-end talent through the draft, but will be looking to acquire experienced talent.
Brisbane's Brandon Starcevich is well and truly on the radar at West Coast, while his teammate Deven Robertson has tempted a move to his home state in the past.
Robertson is out of contract, and could look for more senior opportunities.
Richmond's Tylar Young is also a player of interest to West Coast, who have the link with McQualter, Jack Graham and Liam Baker as former Tigers.
