Despite being delisted from the club's AFL squad for next year, ruckman Kieran Strachan will remain at Adelaide as part of the Crows' SANFL side in 2026.
Strachan's seven-year stint on the South Australian club's AFL list came to a conclusion in September when the 30-year-old was informed he would not receive a contract extension.
That decision saw the Port Melbourne and Essendon VFL product's career come to a close after seven games at the top level.
Strachan made his AFL debut in 2020 and would play two games in the 2021, 2022 and 2024 seasons, often being required as a reinforcement for the durable Reilly O'Brien within Adelaide's ruck pecking order.
The 204cm big man didn't feature at AFL level this year, having spent most of the season on the sidelines due to a pre-season foot injury that required surgery.
A three-time best and fairest for the Crows' reserves side, Strachan has been welcomed back to the state league team at West Lakes for next year.

Strachan managed 14 SANFL games in 2025 following his return from injury, averaging 13.6 disposals and 18.8 hitouts while kicking 20 goals for the year in sharing the ruck workload with recruit Lachie McAndrew.
He joins former North Melbourne utility Blake Drury and Ned Atkinson in remaining at the Crows for next year's SANFL season.
Adelaide have also announced the additions of Joseph Haines (Port District), James Richards (Sturt), Tom Bell (South Fremantle) and Reuben Hill (Cummins Kapinnie) to their SANFL list.
