Delisted Adelaide midfielder Harry Schoenberg is set to continue his AFL career next year after securing a deal with West Coast.

Zero Hanger understands Schoenberg will add to the wave of fresh faces joining the Eagles this off-season as the Western Australian club utilises its four additional rookie list spots.

West Coast have been keen to add experience to their growing list, with former Brisbane onballer Deven Robertson and cut Collingwood youngster Finlay Macrae also tipped to head west.

Schoenberg has earned interest from the Eagles since departing Adelaide, where he played 62 games across six campaigns in South Australia.

Schoenberg played one game at AFL level this year, plying most of his trade in the SANFL, averaging 23.6 disposals, 5.6 clearances and 4.9 inside 50s per game from 16 appearances.

Often forced to an outside role given the Crows' bevy of top-line midfield options, Schoenberg's opportunity to feature in the middle of the field in the senior side was limited during his time at West Lakes.

With the Eagles, the 24-year-old could slot into a central role under coach Andrew McQualter, who will have Macrae, Robertson and trade recruit Brandon Starcevich to also consider adding to his engine room ensemble over the pre-season.

The Eagles heavily relied on Jack Graham and Harley Reid to help steer the midfield this year, with veteran Elliot Yeo sidelined for the entirety of the season due to a series of setbacks.

West Coast will further bolster their list via this week's AFL Draft, and will carry Picks 1, 2, 13, 34 and 41 into the count. The club has ties to as many as four hopeful prospects, with NGA small forward Tylah Williams the headline name and a chance to be selected in the first round on Wednesday night.

The Eagles also have links to father-son prospect Charlie Banfield and NGA duo Wes Walley and Koby Evans, with the trio a chance to be listed as rookies on Friday after the National Draft conclusions the night prior.

As part of the AFL's assistance package, the Eagles were handed a quartet of additional rookie list spots, which are likely to be used via the Rookie Draft and Supplemental Selection Period.

The SSP opens on November 24 and will run throughout the pre-season as clubs are given the final chance to add to their list for 2026.
