Adelaide have secured defender Wayne Milera to a new three-year deal, locking him in at West Lakes until the end of 2028.

Due to come off-contract this year, Milera's decision to recommit to the Crows will see him extend his career to 13 years with the club.

The half-back has enjoyed a strong start to 2025, playing all 10 games of the season while averaging 16.9 disposals, 3.7 marks and 3.6 rebound 50s per game.

โ€œIt's great to be playing week in, week out this season and the body is feeling really good,โ€ Milera said in a club statement.

โ€œI've obviously had some challenges physically over the past couple of seasons but the support I've received from the guys, and the Club in general, has been incredible.

โ€œAbsolutely love this group and I think we are heading in the right direction so I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.โ€

Milera has played 109 games for the South Australian side since debuting in 2016, with a series of long-term setbacks limiting his time on the field.

The 27-year-old is set to line-up for game 110 this weekend when Adelaide host West Coast at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
