Round 23 saw some disappointing performances from top recruits, as a Crows midfielder returned.

As the season nears its end, our ranking is starting to solidify, especially within the top four, but there is still movement outside of that.

Who's making the most impact in their new colours? Welcome to the weekly rankings of the Recruit of the Year contenders for 2025, with Round 23 giving us plenty to consider.

2Matthew Kennedy (-)

Once again, the Bulldogs midfielder was amazing in his role for Luke Beveridge in their 94-point win against the Eagles.

Kennedy gathered 22 disposals along with his 12 contested possessions, seven score involvements, six clearances and four tackles.

The 28-year-old as always continues to be consistent in the Dogs' star-studded midfield, and if it wasn't for a Brownlow Medal contender, he would be easily first in our rankings.
