Veteran recruits were the stars of Round 13 as notable additions at the AFL's two largest clubs push themselves into the Power Rankings.
A strong performance from a former Blue tightens their stranglehold on the second rank, while an underwhelming afternoon in the wet has caused a pivotal Sun to slip.
Who's making the most impact in their new colours? Welcome to the weekly rankings of the Recruit of the Year contenders for 2025, with Round 12 giving us plenty to consider.
5. Jack Macrae (-)
Jack Macrae is tipped to return this week after a month on the sidelines, prepared to take on his old mob for the second time this season. In his absence, the Saints have gone 1-3 and lost the clearance battle in three of those contests.
That shouldn't be a surprise, however, as Macrae is not just a clearance leader at his club but across the entire league, only Caleb Serong is averaging more per game. Against a rampaging Bulldogs midfield, who rank second in clearances per game this season, St Kilda will hope his return will help avoid a repeat of their Round 6 decimation.
