Collingwood ruckman Oscar Steene has inked a new two-year deal to remain in the black and white until the end of 2027.

Steene, who is yet to debut for the Magpies, joined the club as a pre-season recruit ahead of the 2023 campaign out of South Australia.

The 21-year-old has played 30 games at VFL level since then, including 11 this year after an injury-hit first few years at Collingwood.

Steene is averaging 11.8 disposals and 13.4 hitouts per game at the level in 2025.

โ€œOscar has worked incredibly hard over his three years at Collingwood, so this new deal is fantastic recognition for him,โ€ Collingwood's list and talent lead Justin Leppitsch said.

โ€œHe has displayed great resilience to overcome some injury challenges early in his career and has impressed us all with his performances at VFL level this season.
