Collingwood have been linked to off-contract Sydney forward Jack Buller, who is yet to cement his future beyond this year.
Buller is coming off a career-best campaign that saw him net 11 goals in nine matches, stepping into a key forward role often in the absence of teammate Joel Amartey.
The Swans were also without spearhead Logan McDonald for the entirety of their 2025 campaign, bumping Buller up the queue after just one game in his first 18 months with the club.
Buller was drafted to the Swans as a mid-year recruit in 2023 out of Claremont and would have to wait until his second season for a debut, as injuries limited his start in the red and white.
Kept to just one game last year, Buller eventually returned to the senior side in Round 16 this year against the Western Bulldogs, with the Western Australian kicking his first career goal in that defeat.
He would retain his place under Dean Cox for the remainder of the season, showing some value as a forward target who can also serve as a link-up player in attack.

While Buller remains off-contract and was not part of the Swans' first wave of delistings, his uncertain future has piqued the interest of a rival, with SEN's Sam Edmund reporting that Collingwood has expressed an interest in Buller.
The report suggests the Magpies are keen to "lure" Buller out of the Harbour City and bring him to the AIA centre, with the premiership contenders looking to sharpen their forward stocks.
Collingwood is trying to lure out-of-contract Sydney key forward Jack Buller. Mid-season pick up in '23, kicked 11 goals from the last nine games, including an excellent final-round performance against West Coast. The Pies actually have a two-year contract in front of Brody…

Collingwood has continued to find the right mix of tall forwards in recent years, having recruited Dan McStay and Tim Membrey to Olympic Park since Craig McRae joined the Magpies.
McStay was recently dropped in favour of veteran tall Mason Cox, who is also without a deal for next year.
Spearhead Brody Mihocek finds himself in a similar situation, with Edmund reporting a decision from the five-time club leading goalkicker won't come until after Collingwood's season has concluded.
While Buller is off-contract, he is not eligible for free agency and would need to seek a trade to Collingwood to join the Magpies, unless he is delisted.
Collingwood's current draft hand includes selections 33, 51, 64 and 69 for this year's draft, while clubs can also trade their 2026 and 2027 picks.
