Collingwood star Nick Daicos will have to get through main training if he is to play in Gather Round.

The 23-year-old star midfielder was a very late withdrawal from Collingwood's clash with Brisbane at the Gabba last weekend after suffering a corked calf a week prior.

Daicos' availability for the Magpies' match against Fremantle at Adelaide Oval on Friday night will depend on how his body gets through main training on Wednesday.

Veteran Scott Pendlebury will also have to wait until after main training to see if he will be available for the Pies' date with the Dockers.

Pendlebury had a tight achilles during the club's Round 3 fixture against Greater Western Sydney and missed the game against Brisbane.

Collingwood captain Darcy Moore is still three or four weeks away from playing as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Untried Magpie Harry DeMattia doesn't have a date of return after a mild back stress reaction.

The Pies currently sit in 10th spot on the ladder with a record of 2-2.

Other than that, Collingwood has a clean bill of health.
