Each club's worst ever AFL guernsey

We’ve decided to take a look back at every club's worst guernsey! Here are some of the AFL’s worst jumpers over the years. Adelaide From 2007-09 this was the Crows' clash strip. Ben Hudson's face sums up all of our thoughts. Brisbane Colloquially referred to as "the p*** stain" guernsey, this was the Lion's away strip in 2007. Carlton The Blues wore this in round three in 1997 as a promotion for the new light blue M&M. They gained $250,000, but lost their dignity. Collingwood In the 1996 pre-season, Collingwood wore the barcode guernsey seen below. Essendon Essendon's pretty average effort at a clash guernsey from the 2011 season simply featured a widened red stripe and red shorts. New skipper Dyson Heppell donned the sash in his first season for the Bombers. Fremantle The Dockers' 1998 away guernsey was a shocker. Mandatory Credit: Stuart Milligan/ALLSPORT[/caption] Geelong The Geelong strip from their 2017 JLT Community Series campaign was pretty average, but the "claw" guernsey from a few years ago could well be worse. [caption id="attachment_9899" align="aligncenter" width="542"] (Photo by Adam Trafford/AFL Media/Getty Images)[/caption] Gold Coast The Gold Coast strip just generally isn't great, but the this away strip from their first season featuring a wave, is by far their worst. GWS Only a short history so not a large body of work from the Giants. Stephen Coniglio decided to go with the long sleeves in their 2012 match against the Hawks, it's not a great look with their all white guernsey. There has been the 2010 Kokoda guernsey, the 2015 power ranger looking clash guernsey, but by far the worst is the 1995 pre-season number seen below. They also had the awful guernsey below from 2006. Promoting their sponsor, Orange, with this guernsey for their 2000 match against the Pies, this Roos guernsey is a shocker. [caption id="attachment_9908" align="aligncenter" width="575"] Source: News Limited[/caption] Port Adelaide There are plenty of Power guernseys that could make this list, but the Port away strip from 2004 just gets the chocolates. Deplorable. Richmond Richmond wore this guernsey in the 2005 pre-season competition for a silvertop taxis promotion. St Kilda The Saints brought this out as a promotion for Pura lightstart milk, it hung around like a bad smell for three seasons as their away guernsey. Dark days for the club. Sydney Swans fans should be proud, their club rarely alter their guernsey design far from the original. In 1996 they brought this out for heritage round. It's ugly, but certainly not the worst jumper going around. West Coast The Eagles ran with this shocker as their away strip from 2000-2002. Western Bulldogs The Doggies brought this out as their clash/away strip for the 2005 season, it was a promotion for Origin energy and it is a shocker.
