The Carlton Blues have announced that star key forward Charlie Curnow is set to undergo knee surgery and will now miss the remainder of the 2025 season.
Curnow, who has kicked 32 goals this year, developed soreness in his knee after Carlton's 24-point loss to Hawthorn last Thursday, with the club calling the procedure a "necessary clean-up".
Charlie will undergo a necessary knee clean up after developing soreness following last Thursday night’s game.
The decision was made today to allow him to recovery fully and be ready for the start of pre-season.

It's another blow to the Blues as they get set to travel to Western Australia to take on Fremantle on Sunday, having also lost Sam Docherty to retirement, Jack Silvagni to a groin injury and Mitch McGovern to a hamstring injury in the past month.
More to come...
