Cartlon's five recruits have been handed their new numbers for the 2026 season, whilst a draftee has had his digits unveiled.

Ben Ainsworth, Ollie Florent, Will Hayward, Campbell Chesser, and Liam Reidy all arrived at Ikon Park during the latest trade period.

Ainsworth will wear No.12, which was recently vacated by Tom De Koning. The digits were previously worn by Matthew Lappin, Mitch Robinson, Barry Armstrong and Adrian Gleeson.

He wore 9 at Gold Coast.

Florent will be near the former Sun's locker, and will wear the No.14. Delisted forward Orazio Fantasia was the most recent to wear the number, but followed in the footsteps of notable Blues such as Rodney Ashman, Michael Sexton, Rod McLean and Bob Crowe.

He previously wore 13 at Sydney.

Florent's great mate and fellow ex-Swan Hayward will don the No.19 next season. He will fill Corey Durdin's old locker after he was traded to Port Adelaide at the end of 2025. Eddie Betts is the most recognisable Carlton player to wear the digits, as well as Ian Collins and Ron Cooper.

He wore 9 at the Swans.

Chesser, who crossed from West Coast, will take on the No.31 in the navy blue. Tom Alvin played the most games for Carlton in that guernsey, while more recent players such as Jordan Bannister and Tom Williamson were also seen in it.

He wore 18 at the Eagles.

Reidy will make No.39 his own after departing the Dockers for more opportunity. The locker was recently made vacant following Alex Cincotta's delisting, while Ang Christou and premiership Pie Dale Thomas also donned the jumper for over 100 games.

He wore 18 and 42 at Fremantle.

Top draftee Harry Dean will don the No.35 after he was drafted with Pick 3 in the 2025 intake.

Dean's two-time premiership-winning father, Peter, wore the number during his playing days, and the legacy will continue.

Peter holds the club record for games in No. 35, but Ed Curnow also made an impressive 221 appearances before retiring two years ago.

Billy Wilson is the most recent occupant of the number, but will be seen in No.15 next year, taking over club legend Sam Docherty.

Fellow 2025 draftee Jack Ison will wear No.30, digits Charlie Curnow recently wore before he departed for Sydney.
