Carlton ruckman Liam Reidy has accepted a one-game suspension for his rough conduct charge on North Melbourne's Hugo Mikunda.

During the second quarter of the clash between the Blues and the Kangaroos, Reidy was sanctioned for his hit, with the Match Review Panel (MRP) deeming the incident careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

The MRP initially gave two weeks for the rough conduct.

Reidy will be unavailable for Carlton's Gather Round clash against Adelaide.

Essendon youngster Kayle Gerreyn was penalised twice in the contest with the Footscray Bulldogs, and can also accept a one-week layoff for his strike on Will Lewis.

Gerreyn's hit was deemed as intentional conduct, medium impact and body contact, resulting in a two-week base sanction, with the early plea kicking in.

The Bomber can also accept a $600 fine and reprimand for a rough conduct charge on Lewis, which was downgraded for a one-week base sanction.

VFL star and Southport Sharks midfielder Jacob Dawson will assess a pair of charges on Gold Coast forward Nick Holman.

Dawson can accept a one-week suspension and a $250 fine for his strike (intentional conduct, medium impact, body contact) and rough conduct (intentional conduct, low impact, body contact) offences in the second term.

Teammate Brock Aston has avoided a ban for his strike on Holman.

Werribee small forward Massimo Raso has been referred straight to the Tribunal, but can accept a three-week suspension for his rough conduct charge on Geelong's Jed Bews.

Raso's offence was graded as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact.

VFL listed pair Zavier Maher and Fergus McFadyen were also sanctioned by the MRP, but could take an early guilty plea of one match for their offences.
