Western Bulldog veterans Dale Morris and Matthew Boyd will play on next season after the pair both signed one-year contract extensions.

Both have been instrumental this season not only on the field, but also in mentoring the younger brigade of players at the club.

“It’s good to be able to sign in such an exciting week for the footy club and good to be able to look forward to another year," Boyd told the club's website.

“Playing a new role down back it’s been exciting, it’s been fun and I’ve loved the challenge and I’m looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead.”

Morris said he is also excited about playing on with an exciting group of young players.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be going on again another year, I just love the Club and love playing footy and to go again I’m rapt.”
