Brisbane premiership forward Logan Morris has denied the advances from rival clubs and opted to re-sign for another two years, keeping him at the club until the end of 2027, while ruckman Darcy Fort has extended his time, adding 12 more months to his stay.
Reports indicated that Melbourne and Collingwood were among the sides interested in luring the Victorian down south, but after a bright start at the Lions, Morris will be seen in the maroon for a while longer.
The 19-year-old joined the Queensland club in the 2023 National Draft, taken with Pick 31 to play alongside Eric Hipwood and Joe Daniher.
Morris strangely burst onto the AFL scene, having debuted in the QClash shortly after featuring in the reserves side that day.
The key forward began as the sub in Round 8 last year, but was quickly activated as a trio of Brisbane veterans went down with injuries.

Since, Morris has featured in all but one clash, including the 2024 grand final, where he kicked two goals in the 60-point victory.
It was understood that the Pies and Demons were prepared to offer Morris "longer-term deals worth millions... to move back to Victoria".
Following on from his maiden season in the competition, the Western Jets product has kicked 13 goals from seven outings.
"From the moment Logan got his opportunity at AFL level, he has taken it with both hands and made the most of it," Brisbane Lions GM of Football Danny Daly said.
"Logan has been impressive so far, and we are confident he will only take his game to new levels as he develops.
"We are thrilled as a Club that he is committed to extend and we look forward to Logan and the Morris family continuing to be part of the Lions."
Fort has become a journeyman in the AFL after spending three years at Geelong, before joining the Lions ahead of the 2022 season.
The ruckman has often been used as a depth option in Chris Fagan's side, but was called upon to replace the injured Oscar McInerney in last year's grand final team.
Fort has played 38 AFL matches, including two in 2025.
"Darcy, firstly, is a very good ruckman, a premiership ruckman, who is also extremely valuable when he plays up forward," Daly added.
"But perhaps more importantly, he is also one of the most trusted and respected players at the Club.
"No matter when it is or what it is, whenever Darcy is called upon, he does what is required for the team and for the Club with no fuss.
"We are thrilled to have Darcy, his wife Jasmine, and the Fort family continue to be part of the Lions for another year."
Morris missed last week's victory over Gold Coast with calf tightness, but is a chance to return against North Melbourne.
