Brisbane champion and media personality Jonathan Brown revealed he had brain surgery on Wednesday to remove a tumour.
Brown took to social media to provide an update on his health, noting that he is in recovery, but has "recuperated".
"After undergoing a routine scan, I was recently made aware of a shadow on my brain that turned out to be a low-grade brain tumour,” Brown wrote.
"I underwent surgery Wednesday with a positive outcome.
"I understand a surgery of this nature creates interest and once I have recuperated, I will share my experience but for now I need to take some time to rest and recover."

Brown has roles in Fox Footy's team, helping commentate games across the weekend and one of the panelist's on On The Couch Monday evenings.
The former Lion played 256 AFL games, claiming three premiership, two All-Australian blazers, three Merrett-Murray Medals and a Coleman Medal across 15 seasons.
He also captained Brisbane for four years before retiring at the end of 2014 due to persistent injuries and sickening concussions.
More to come.
