GWS star Lachie Whitfield has been hospitalised with appendicitis and is in doubt for the Giants' clash with Collingwood on Saturday.
According to the Herald Sun, Whitfield is in hospital receiving treatment, with coach Leon Cameron set to address the media at 10.45 on his health.
The Giants could be without Whitfield and Toby Greene on Saturday, after Greene was suspended for a week for an incident involving Lachie Neale.
However, the Giants have confirmed they'll appeal his ban, with the hearing to come on Thursday night.
